Ngozi Orabueze, the self-styled Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the “United States of Biafra” (USB), has made public an acknowledgment letter received from the White House, bearing the signature of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Orabueze shared the correspondence on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, sparking reactions online.

The letter, which appears to be a standard form response used for mass communication with the public, thanked her for reaching out to the President.

Emblazoned with the official White House letterhead, the message followed a template often sent to citizens and organizations who write to the Oval Office.

“Thank you for your letter. I appreciate you taking the time to share your views and concerns with me. Your thoughts are important, and I value the opportunity to hear from citizens like you,” the letter read.

It continued with language typical of the administration’s messaging: “As we work to make America great again, your input helps guide our efforts. For more information on my administration’s policies and priorities, please visit the White House website.”

The correspondence concluded with a personal note extending well wishes from the President and the First Lady: “Melania joins me in sending our best wishes to you and your family.”

While Orabueze presented the letter as a significant diplomatic acknowledgment, observers note that the document bears the hallmarks of a “form letter” or “boilerplate.”

These are pre-written templates used by government offices to efficiently manage the high volume of mail received daily, ensuring that every correspondent receives a polite, albeit generic, reply.

Despite its standardized nature, the receipt of the letter has generated buzz within pro-Biafra circles, where any form of engagement from international leaders is often interpreted as a step toward recognition.
