Ikechukwu Okonkwo, who is widely known as Cross, has officially married his longtime partner Chinonso Onyebuchi.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate and his new wife held their civil wedding ceremony on Monday. The event took place at the federal marriage registry in Ikoyi, Lagos State.
Cross shared beautiful pictures from the private ceremony on his official Instagram page to celebrate the special moment with his fans and followers.
The reality television star wore a sharp burgundy tuxedo for the occasion. His bride looked beautiful in an elegant white gown.
Cross expressed deep gratitude and faith while describing the wedding. He noted that the moment was ordained by God.
“A day the LORD has made. Mr & Mrs Okonkwo,” he wrote.
The couple started their formal journey to marriage last year when they got engaged. They later held their traditional wedding ceremony in January.
Cross became very popular after he participated in the 2021 Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye season. White Money eventually won that edition of the reality show.
Cross also returned to the screen for the All Stars edition of the show in 2023. He finished as the fifth runner up and has remained active in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
In November 2024, the reality star spoke openly about his recent spiritual transformation. He stated that God had arrested him and he now dedicates his entire life to Jesus Christ.
