Ministers from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) have met to review rising security threats and strategies for strengthening economic integration across the region.
The meeting focused on cross-border terrorism, banditry, and political instability affecting several member states. Ministers stressed the need for coordinated military responses and intelligence sharing.
