Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has revealed he would prefer not to see either Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain lift the UEFA Champions League trophy this season, despite the two sides being strong contenders for the title.
Speaking to RMC Sport ahead of the second leg of the semi-finals, Drogba responded candidly when asked who he’d rather see in the final between PSG and Arsenal, saying: “Do you really want to know the answer? Neither team. But I think it is good for French football to have a team that has come this far. Good luck to them.”
PSG currently hold a narrow advantage in their semi-final tie after a 1–0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. In the other semi-final, Barcelona and Inter Milan played out a dramatic 3–3 draw at Camp Nou, setting up a high-stakes return leg.

Drogba, who remains an iconic figure at Chelsea for his decisive goal and winning penalty in the 2012 Champions League final against Bayern Munich, made clear his allegiance lies elsewhere this season. He named either Barcelona or Inter Milan as his preferred winners of the prestigious tournament.
His comments come as the competition nears its climax, with four teams vying for a spot in the final and a chance to claim European football’s biggest prize.
