Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has reacted to remarks made by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, who recently suggested that the actress “needs help.”

Emeka Rollas made the comment in a lengthy Instagram post on Thursday, addressing Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels. He urged Rita to focus on her daughter’s well-being rather than engaging in the contest for the AGN presidency.

In his post, Rollas also criticized some Nollywood veterans for remaining silent amid the public breakup between Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. He stated: “Regarding Regina, we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair.”

Regina Daniels, however, responded to the remarks by emphasizing her autonomy and rejecting the notion that she requires intervention. While she did not directly confront Rollas, her response, shared via social media, highlighted her determination to manage her personal affairs privately and independently.

The comment and response have reignited discussions about the role of the AGN and public scrutiny of actors’ private lives, with many fans and industry watchers debating whether such interventions are appropriate.

Despite the controversy, Regina Daniels continues to maintain her career and public engagements, signaling that she intends to navigate both her professional and personal life on her own terms.
