Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen made history on Wednesday by breaking two records after helping Galatasaray secure the Turkish Cup.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward scored a brace as Galatasaray triumphed 3-0 over Trabzonspor in the cup final. With his two goals, Osimhen achieved the following milestones:

- Galatasaray’s All-Time Foreign Scoring Record in a Single Season – Osimhen netted his 35th goal of the campaign, surpassing the legendary Mario Jardel’s 34-goal tally from the 2000-2001 season.
- First Foreign Player to Score Twice in a Turkish Cup Final – He became the first non-Turkish footballer to score a double in the competition’s final.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray last year on a season-long loan from Napoli and has been in sensational form, attracting interest from top European clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Juventus, and Manchester United.
