Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has stirred conversation with her striking metaphor about the Nigerian music industry, comparing it to shark-infested waters.

In a recently shared video, the award-winning singer is seen swimming alongside what appear to be real sharks, prompting fans to express deep concerns about her safety. However, Tiwa quickly dismissed those fears in her response, turning attention to the dangers she faces in her career.

“Everyone’s worried about me swimming with sharks, but the ones in this music industry are way more f*cking dangerous,” she wrote in an Instastory post, highlighting the intense and often cutthroat nature of the entertainment world.
