International Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has officially announced his first-ever music festival in the United Kingdom, titled ‘Davido and Friends’.

The 33-year-old award-winning singer shared the exciting news with his fans on Instagram on Monday, revealing that the highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on August 14, 2026, at the historic Crystal Palace Bowl in London.

Billed as an exclusive summer event, the ‘Timeless’ hitmaker emphasized the unique nature of the upcoming concert.

“For the first time ever, I present to you ‘Davido and Friends’. This will be my only outdoor show I am performing in London this summer. We will be taking over the Crystal Palace Bowl on the 14th of August. Make sure you get your friends down,” Davido announced.

For fans eager to secure their spot, the singer noted that ticket pre-sales will officially commence on March 26, with general ticket sales following immediately after on March 27.

Davido first skyrocketed to fame in 2012 following the massive success of ‘Dami Duro’, the breakout second single from his debut album Omo Baba Olowo. Over the past decade, he has firmly established himself as a titan of the genre, widely recognized as one of the “Big Three” of Afrobeats and a leading ambassador for African music globally.

Since his explosive debut, the artist has consistently delivered chart-topping projects, including A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), the Grammy-nominated Timeless (2023), and his most recent release, 5ive (2025).

Beyond his own musical achievements, Davido is also a prominent music executive. He founded Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in April 2016, a powerhouse record label that has served as a launchpad for a plethora of top-tier musical talent across the continent.
