Super Eagles goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has completed a move to Cyprus after signing a two-year contract with Enosis Neon Paralimniou FC, marking his return to familiar surroundings ahead of the new season.
The 25-year-old joined the Crimsons from Greek side Volos FC, ending a brief one-season spell in Greece. Adeleye is no stranger to Enosis Neon, having previously represented the club during the 2024–2025 campaign, where he established himself as first-choice goalkeeper.
During that stint, Adeleye was a regular between the posts, making 30 league appearances under head coach Damir Čanadi and earning praise for his consistency and shot-stopping abilities. His performances helped stabilise the Enosis Neon defence and laid the groundwork for his return to the Cypriot club.
Before moving to Volos, Adeleye built a solid resume across Europe and the Middle East. He had spells in Turkey and Israel, featuring for Hapoel Katamon and Hapoel Jerusalem, experiences that contributed to his development and eventual call-up to the Super Eagles setup.

Meanwhile, in England, Isthmian League Premier Division side Billericay Town have confirmed the signing of Flying Eagles invitee Abube Onuchukwu. The 20-year-old defensive midfielder has joined the non-league Blues on an initial 28-day loan from Ipswich Town, with the agreement including an option for extension depending on his performances.
Onuchukwu recently returned to Ipswich after a loan spell at Chelmsford City and has pledged his international future to Nigeria, despite being eligible to represent England. The coming months could prove decisive for the midfielder, with his contract at Ipswich set to expire this summer.
Talks over a new deal are yet to begin, while reports suggest an unnamed League Two club is monitoring his situation closely ahead of a potential free transfer. A former Aston Villa youth player, Onuchukwu was invited to the Flying Eagles camp in 2025 but was unable to attend due to club commitments. His last outing for Ipswich’s youth side came on December 1, when he played the full match in a 1-0 Premier League Cup victory over Leicester City.
