American President Joe Biden has ended his reelection campaign following pressure from democratic party members and supporters over his mental acuity and ability to beat Donald Trump in the November presidential elections.

The decision by Biden leaves the presidential race in uncharted territory.

Over the past few weeks since the debate with former President Trump, Biden has banked on inertia and the fear of unknowns and panic in his party.

The US President promised he will speak to the nation “later this week” about his decision.
