Liam Gallagher, the famous musician from the bands Oasis and Beady Eye, has never been associated with Chelsea Football Club or any notable reason for “leaving” Chelsea in particular.
However, if you’re referring to Conor Gallagher, the English footballer, there has been no significant public statement about him leaving Chelsea either, as he is still a part of the club (as of the 2023-2024 season).
Former Chelsea midfield maestro, Conor Gallagher, has opened up on why he left Chelsea.
According to a statement from Fabrizio Romano’s X handle on Friday, Gallagher said Chelsea’s new policy to sign players on long contracts was the main reason why he left Chelsea.
“Why Chelsea sold me? Clubs make their own decisions and they have brought in some top players on long contracts.
“That wasn’t the situation with me but, in the end, what happened is good for everyone, so everyone is happy”, he told Daily Mail.

Recall that the London club sold Gallagher to Athletico Madrid in a deal worth over £33m earlier in the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile Ahead of England’s UEFA Nations League clash with the Republic of Ireland, Gallagher addressed the suggestion that his technical skills were lacking.
He emphasised his strong performance under Pochettino, stating, “I think last season I had a good season with Chelsea, and you could see by Pochettino playing me every game and showing his trust in me.”
