Joseph, We all, at some point, have written a script in our head. But the reality is that life doesn’t always follow the script that we have created in our heads or the template we have made in our mind.

You ask any story that reflects resilience, faith, and faithfulness even in difficult moments, It should be that of Joseph.

It began from being his favored so his father’s favorite son with colorful coat to being betrayed by his brothers, to slavery, false accusations.

The man left alone to face his own hard reality.

Abandoned and forgotten by the butler Yet Joseph remained faithful.

The story of Joseph speaks so much on faithfulness even in difficult moments.

Joseph had so many reasons to give up. He had so many reasons to become compromise, so many reasons to forget about his dreams, But yet, through it all, he remained.
He held on to God. He held on to the dreams. He never lost hope.

His faithfulness cut across;

•Faithfulness In The Pit

Even when betrayed, Joseph didn’t give up or grow bitter. He kept his faith and held on to God.

He Maintained In The Palace

We are aware of how tempting it is to compromise, especially in a place like palace but he remained true to his values despite the temptation (Potiphar’s wife)

•Patience In The Prison

Though forgotten by those he helped, he kept serving and trusting God even in the prison.

•Purpose In The Process

He found purpose in the process, he did not stay idle, he kept interpreting dreams even when his own was yet to be interpreted.

PERSONAL REFLECTION

I have had so many Joseph season, I have felt all alone and forgotten but one of the things that helped me stay faithful was God’s promises to me. He gave me a Bible verse and that became my anchor all through the storm.

You might want to think about your own tough season as well. Tough seasons are not meant to break but to build us and draw us closer to God.

Trust God’s timing in your Joseph’s season, He’s never late nor too early.
