Rangers International FC players, Chidera Eze has promised to give the club fans something positive to smile home about when the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) resumes.

Eze made this known to newsmen in Enugu on Thursday, saying his return to the club after two and half seasons away, would be friutful.

According to the right full back, “It is a great thing to be back with the club, I feel glad and happy to have reunited with the club that gave me the base.

“It has not been an easy journey, playing for other clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) but thanks to God that I came back sound and healthy.

“I will give my all to ensure that Rangers FC pursue the league, the Aiteo cup tittle and crown it all with continental ticket.

“Well, it all depends on God but the players and my personal target is to get something tangible in the forthcoming season.

“Things have changed a lot in the club, starting from the coaching crew and the players, but I have no doubt in thier ability.

Eze said the players recruited by the club are good and great, noting that the coach himself had been a force to reckon with in NPFL.

He said that he garnered a lot of experience from his wide traveling in the League, describing Rangers FC as a household name in the League, Adaeventsnews gathered.

“Rangers FC is a worldwide known team, a team that the Igbos are proud of with lots of positive history.

“I have also played in Gombe United and Shooting Stars but Stars is a great team in Western side of the country with rich history.

“It is a memorable journey for me to pass through the clubs but I do not think twice in rejoining Rangers FC.

“When, I got a call from Rangers, I was glad but I thought it was just a joke, until I got a call from the club management to come back home,”he said.

Eze said that he would give his all to win the club fans over and promised to put smiles on thier faces with his performance.

“I love the Rangers FC, their football fans and I know they love me, I believe this new marriage will be fruitful,” Eze said.
