According to a report by Peoples Gazette, the Lagos State administration has announced the start of an on-street parking plan that would tax cars parked on selected areas on an hourly basis. The goal is to launch the project in October.

Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) branch chairman received a warning from Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) dated July 19, written by Head of Operations Ayokunle Akinrimisi. The sign alerts churches to the new regulation and issues a caution against careless parking.
