Apostle Johnson Suleman, the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, has said he saw Jesus Christ “physically”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that according to Suleman, his experience with Jesus, who died about 2,000 years ago, was buoyed by his desire to “encounter God”.
The Nigerian televangelist was speaking at a recent religious event in Nairobi, Kenya, adaeventsnews gathered.
“I was a preacher; I was saved for years. But it got to a stage I locked the door, I said I must encounter God. I started fasting, no food, no water, for 11 days. On the twelfth day, I saw Jesus walk into the room. He smiled and begin to talk to me,” Suleman said.
Apostle Suleman was trained as a mass communicator and has a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resource Development. He has over twenty books to his name.

The preacher prior to the controversies that followed him in 2015, was said to have submitted himself to the ministerial oversight of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the former leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and a protégé of late Archbishop Benson Idahosa. More currently, he has been linked in that capacity to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
