In the wake of his high-riding newly-released EP, Echoes From Pluto, Purple Plutonian has claimed that his songs are original and not rehash of existing songs.
The inspiration for the songs of the EP, he claimed were derived from various sources: “These songs are all from a place of inspiration from me and very talented writers and musicians that came together to create this magic,” he averred.
Since the release of Echoes From Pluto in July by Sounds From Pluto record label, owned by Gift Bernard Essien and Daniel Obidiah, the EP has been available across various digital platforms, including amazon.com.
While he claimed to be unbiased in his liking for any of the seven tracks on the EP, the artiste however expressed a preference for “Juju” as his favourite song.

Speaking further of the inspiration behind the lyric of “Sege” which has so far been the most popular of the songs, Purple Plutonian articulated: “Relationships usually change once one of the two involved is in the spotlight. We have seen it multiple times.
It was something I always felt could happen to me, and a lot of people had the experience. So I felt like expressing it on behalf of us,” he said.
While he is happy that his dream of becoming a musician materialised, Purple Plutonian confessed that he probably would have focused on fashion and styling if he were not into music.
Reflecting on his journey as a musician, Purple Plutonian, whose real name is Onyembi Mbuli Mitchel, claimed he is basking in every moment of his rising stardom.
“I don’t think I have a “best moment” yet. So far, the creative process with my team has been the best moment. There’s no better feeling than creating something with people you respect and knowing you did something amazing,” he stated.
