President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr. Ayo Sotinrin as the new Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture.
The announcement was made in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s media aide, who confirmed that the appointment takes immediate effect.

According to Onanuga, Sotinrin brings a wealth of experience from both the private and public sectors, making him well-equipped to steer the Bank of Agriculture towards growth and development.
His appointment is expected to bolster efforts to enhance agricultural financing and boost Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
Education
Sotinrin is academically accomplished. He holds an Executive MBA from the prestigious Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. He also has a Master’s degree in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick and an Advanced Diploma in Environmental Conservation, highlighting his multi-disciplinary expertise.
His appointment comes at a crucial time when Nigeria is pushing to strengthen its food security and unlock the potential of its rural economy.
