Atule opened the scoring for the home side in the first half, showcasing his skill and sharp attacking instincts. However, the visitors fought back, drawing level early in the second half. The tie was broken in the 61st minute when Ideye’s clinical strike reignited the passion of Enyimba’s supporters, who erupted in celebration at the resurgence of their team’s attacking prowess.
