Otu Njama, the Nigerian filmmaker popular for producing ‘Inhibition’, the 2019 hit movie, has passed away.
Njama was reportedly found dead at his apartment in Badore, Ajah, Lagos state, on Tuesday night.
It, however, remains unclear what led to his death — as of the time of this report.
Shaibu Hussieni, the media personality, confirmed his death in a post via his Facebook page on Wednesday.
Hussieni said the filmmaker died hours after he paid a tribute to Biyi Bandele, his colleague, who passed away on Monday.
According to him, the movie producer recently invited him for a concert to promote ‘Sweet Mother’, his forthcoming movie.
Hussieni said the concert was billed to hold on Thursday, adaeventsnews gathered.
“He sent me a formal invitation for his much anticipated ‘Sweet Mother Concert’ yesterday and followed it up with a call for my attendance and coverage of the event at 1pm yesterday,” he said.
“The show holds tomorrow but this morning we heard that the Filmmaker of ‘inhibition’ Fame Otu Njama 3 is dead!
